Food Cost Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Cost Specialist to oversee inventory management and food cost controls across multiple McDonald's restaurant locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting restaurant profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and verify inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Manage and review weekly product orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Analyze food cost reports and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved performance.
  • Partner with restaurant management teams to implement and reinforce inventory control best practices.
  • Develop and support strategies to improve food cost performance and overall restaurant profitability.
  • Monitor product usage trends, waste, and variances, providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Assist with training and coaching restaurant teams on inventory procedures and food cost management.
