Position Summary
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

  • Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function
  • Support and deliver individualized treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on, patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT
  • Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities
  • Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices
  • Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT
  • Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records
  • Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment
  • Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Valid state PTA license
  • Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • CPR certification preferred
