The Brand Ambassador is responsible for providing quality service to Guests, with accountability for:

  • Ensuring Workability, Intensity & Integrity
  • Performing Front of House (FOH) responsibilities as directed by Shift Leader
  • Greeting Guests, serving food, and handling payment at the cash register
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the store

Provides requested information regarding the menu, and handles Guest questions and complaints effectively. Monitors food quality and provides feedback to the

Restaurant Leader, Operations Leader, and/or Chef/Assistant Chef.

  • Store Environment: Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary store environment in compliance with Operations standards. Cleans all areas of the store following proper procedures in the use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals. Ensures compliance with all food safety, work

safety, and sanitation requirements.

  • Operations: Upholds high Operations Standards and being the Best. Serves accurate portions from the steam table; manages steam table with fresh and presentable quality food, and orders the appropriate amount of food during busy and slow periods. Takes catering orders and ensures orders are properly filled in accordance with Guest request. May perform Assistant Chef (BOH) responsibilities as needed.

Finance

  • Cash Handling: Follows Focus Group cash handling procedures and policy, including cash, credit cards, gift cards and other payment methods accepted by the company. Operates the POS and Computer system accurately. May perform cash register opening and closing procedures.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Some high school
  • Prefer some Operations experience

Food Safety:

  • Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler and ServSafe certifications, acquired at applicantโ€™s own expense

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Embody Focusโ€™s Mission, Values, Culture, and Environment
  • Basic understanding of all Operations practices and concepts, including store opening and closing
  • Knowledge of cash handling policy and procedures
  • Knowledge of steam table operations, serving protocols, and menu
  • Ability to consistently apply Focus Group cash handling policy and procedures
  • Ability to perform all FOH duties
  • Ability to learn basic cooking (chow mein and rice)
  • Understanding of work and food safety and application of the work and food safety checklists
  • Understanding of proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals
