Job description

Position Summary
As part of the Partnership Strategy team at Focus Financial Partners, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and operational excellence for our partner firms. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the rapidly evolving RIA sector, leveraging your strategic and analytical skills to help shape the future of wealth management.
This role can be based in New York, NY; or San Francisco, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as a relationship manager to 50+ Focus Network firms, in a team-based delivery model
  • Work directly with Focus firms ($500M - $100B+ in AUM) in leading and supporting initiatives to drive growth, improve business efficiency, and improve sustainability
  • Monitor P&L performance across firms to highlight areas for operational efficiency and growth improvements
  • Drive a strategic agenda with Network firms and support decision making through delivering data, insights, and impact
  • Partner with senior Focus resources in delivering our platform of client solutions to Network firms
  • Be a part of the most significant business transformation in the history of the RIA sector, through a unique lens at the intersection of strategy and execution for Focus partner firms

Qualifications
  • 4-6+ plus years of combined experience working in wealth management and / or consulting (preferably, with a focus on wealth management or financial services)
  • Understanding and knowledge of the RIA marketplace, competitive set, economic model and internal workings of an RIA a plus
  • Experience on a client facing team with revenue and / or asset goals a plus
  • Prior consulting, practice management, and / or wealth management experience a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to be a self-starter
  • Undergraduate degree required, Graduate degree highly preferred

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $150,000-$190,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate's experience and education.
