The position sits within theITdepartment but works closely withthe various departments to achieve the spatial data needs of the organization. The Senior GISAnalystis expected to perform a variety of duties in support of this mission. Domain knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred along with proficient knowledge of GIS concepts such as spatial data creation and management, data visualization, spatial analysis, FME build and design, and systems administration.The positionadministersGIS workflows as well.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and process queries to extract, manipulate and analyze data

  • Assistwith special projects involving thematic map creation, dataconversionand/or quality control

  • Design and implement automated ETL usingFME,Python (ArcPy),SQLand Snowflaketo automate workflow processes

  • Integrate geospatial and operational data across multiple areas

  • Manage content stored inArcSDEgeodatabases and SQL server

  • Programweb-based applications within ArcGIS Enterprise such as dashboards, ExperienceBuilder

  • Collaboratewithinterdisciplinaryteams tointegrateGISdatawithothersystems(e.g.FME,ArcGISOnline,ExperienceBuilder)

  • Assistwithtraining junior GIS staff and end-users on GIS tools and best practices

RequiredQualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS or related field

  • At leastseven (7)years of FMEworkexperiencein Oil and Gas

  • At leastseven(7) years ofGISwork experience using ArcGISandrelated tools and extensions including ArcGIS Pro

  • At leastsix(6)years of experience in Oil and Gas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in GIS or related field

  • Experience with Surface Infrastructure, features, and attributes

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGISEnterpriseand Esri-related mobile applications

  • Programming and scripting skills

  • Advance understanding of key concepts FME and scripts for workflow processes

  • Proven high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proventrack recordof being able tosolve problemsand think creatively
