Job description


Role description: The role involves in performing Spatial Data conversion using FME.Design, troubleshoot and automate spatial data transformation workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
FME proficiencies in converting spatial formats based on process flow requirements
Ability to ingest and transform common data formats for tabular and geospatial information.
Working knowledge of software asset control in GitHub.
Ability to execute and troubleshoot SQL queries in a PostGIS database.
Experience with Postgres spatial functions, using pgAdmin, MySQL, or other sql databases.
Demonstrated ability to perform open-source research with a variety of search tools and techniques.
Experience with database manipulation using python (pandas), R, or other language.
Experience working with datasets in JSON file format.
Familiarity with regex and hive.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Technical experience in FME Software, and QGIS will be added advantage.
Strong understanding of working on various GIS and Non GIS formats
Analytical mindset with an innovative approach to solving issues
Required Competencies/Experience:
5 years practical experience in developing FME workbench models.
1 year experience in successfully delivering FME workflows for Apple Maps.
Experience working on Maps related program for Large Map development companies is a must.
Has experience working on digital map production environment and responsible for Delivery and Quality functions.
