Job description

A private family in South Miami, FL is seeking an educated, German-speaking career nanny for a long-term rotational nanny position. This is a 7-days-on / 7-days-off schedule and is open to qualified nationwide candidates on a fly-in / fly-out basis.
At the time of transition, the child will be approximately six months old. The ideal candidate will be confident managing the child's daily routines, developmental needs, and overall well-being as a full-charge nanny.
Schedule & Expectations
โ€ข 7 days on / 7 days off rotational schedule
โ€ข Fly-in / fly-out arrangement for qualified nationwide candidates
โ€ข Live-in during the on-duty rotation
โ€ข Private bedroom and ensuite bathroom provided while on duty
โ€ข Must be able to drive the child to activities, appointments, and outings as needed
โ€ข International travel required, including extended summer travel of approximately 4-8 weeks

Responsibilities
This is a full-charge nanny role responsible for the child's daily care, development, and routines.
โ€ข Provide attentive, nurturing care for an infant transitioning into toddlerhood.
โ€ข Manage feeding schedules, including bottles, introduction of solids, and preparation of healthy meals and snacks for the child.
โ€ข Establish and maintain consistent nap schedules and daily routines.
โ€ข Handle diapering, bathing, dressing, and general hygiene care.
โ€ข Monitor developmental milestones and support age-appropriate cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.
โ€ข Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, including reading, music, sensory play, outdoor activities, and creative learning experiences.
โ€ข Provide consistent German language exposure through daily conversation, reading, songs, and play.
โ€ข Support early language development and social engagement.
โ€ข Drive the child to activities, appointments, classes, outings, and other scheduled commitments as needed.
โ€ข Maintain a clean, organized nursery and play environment.
โ€ข Manage all child-related laundry and keep clothing, toys, and developmental materials organized.
โ€ข Maintain diapering supplies, feeding items, and nursery essentials.
โ€ข Pack and organize items for outings and family travel.

Qualifications
โ€ข Native or fluent German speaker required.

โ€ข Significant experience caring for infants and young children in private households.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in long-term nanny roles.
