Practices according to professional and ethical standards. Demonstrates an understanding of and functions as a professional nurse in accordance with Colorado State Nurse Practice Act. Participates in financial stewardship as evidenced by efficient use of resources and supplies, reviewing charges When requested and possible, participates in committees and/or community events as a member of EPH. Performs in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory agency standards. Performs in accordance with EPH vision, mission and goals. All other duties associated in the professional role of RN.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience – 2 years

Must possess a valid Colorado RN license or a valid multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact

Required certifications: American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC; NRP

Recommended certifications: CEN, NIHSS

· Current CO license or multistate license and source verified o If permanent license, verify online & print a copy of the page. o If temporary license, have copy of authorization letter from Colorado Board of Nursing; verify by phone, note on copy and place in their file.

· Copies of certifications required for the position that are listed in the Job Description. o Such as: BLS and ACLS must be AHA, and PALS.

· Immunization records including documentation of immunity to Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoste, Hep B and Tetanus.

· TB test within the last year. We will only accept QuantiFERON.

· Influenza shot is required by the State of Colorado no exceptions during influenza season. Influenza season is Sept 1st (depending on availability of flu vaccines) through to March 31st of the following year, or as otherwise defined by the Department of Epidemiology and Flu Surveillance Team.

· Confirmation of having received the COVID Vaccine (copy of vaccine card).

· Copy of negative 10 panel drug screen results (within the last 30 days).

· Resume' with work experience.

· Documented references.

· Proof of all required Regulatory (OSHA) Training.

· Assessment of skills/competencies.

· Results of criminal background check including OIG (within the last 30 days).

· CAPS check through the State of Colorado (required for all patient care positions).
