Floral Sales Specialist
The Design Haus
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Wedding Floral Sales Specialist to join our team full time (40+ hours per week). The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for floral design, a flair for sales, and a passion for helping couples bring their wedding visions to life through stunning floral arrangements.
As a Wedding Floral Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the floral design process, understanding their preferences, and ultimately ensuring their wedding day is filled with exquisite blooms
What You'll Do:
  • Client Consultation: Conduct initial consultations (virtually and in-person) with couples to understand their wedding theme, color scheme, style preferences, and budget for floral arrangements.
  • Design and Recommendation: Utilize your expertise in floral design to recommend appropriate flower varieties, arrangements, and non-floral decor elements that align with the client's vision and budget.
  • Quotation and Proposal: Create detailed and accurate quotes and proposals for design services, including itemized pricing and descriptions, ensuring clarity for clients.
  • Sales and Upselling: Effectively communicate the value of our floral services and upsell additional offerings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong and positive relationships with clients throughout the planning process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and empathetically.
  • In-House Team Communication: Collaborate with other team-members, from fellow Design Haus staff to venue staff, to ensure seamless execution of designs on the wedding day.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on current floral and wedding industry trends, competitors, and pricing to remain competitive and innovative.

Qualifications:
  • Required Experience: A proven track record of achieving strong sales results is non-negotiable. Bonus points for expertise in the wedding and event industry.
  • Required Education: A college degree or a history of wowing us with your work achievements.
  • Strong knowledge of various flower varieties, their seasonality, and suitability for different occasions.
  • Excellent interpersonaland communication skills to build rapport with clients and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in floral design software (Details Flowers) or tools is a plus.
  • Required Physical Abilities: Lifting up to 40 lbs, and walking/standing 8-10 hours.
  • Other Requirements: Submit to a background and drug test, have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Schedule:
  • Full-time: must be available to work on weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Base + Uncapped Commission: Earning potential $50,000-$60,000+ annually
