ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P with a night/day rotation. 36 hours per week available. Commitment to at least 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide patient care across various Med Surg and Telemetry units as required. The position requires flexibility to float to other units based on operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Documenting patient care and progress using EPIC charting.
  • Adhering to facility policies and protocols while floating between units.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute Med Surg / Tele in a hospital setting.
  • Active New York RN license.
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates.
