Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant Surgery Scheduler to join our cardiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgeries and other medical procedures, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate surgeries and medical procedures.
  • Communicate with patients regarding their surgery dates and pre-operative instructions.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and prepare surgery schedules.
  • Perform medical assistant duties, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
