About the Role:
Learn & Grow Child Development Center in New Haven, KY is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Floater/Support Staff member to join our team! In this dynamic role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our classrooms and staff to ensure every child receives the best care and attention possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Float between classrooms to provide coverage and support to lead teachers as needed
  • Assist with supervision and engagement of children in daily activities and play
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Support staff during transitions, meals, nap time, and outdoor play
  • Follow all childcare policies, procedures, and licensing regulations
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
  • Assist with classroom preparation and age-appropriate learning activities
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in multiple classroom settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be reliable, flexible, and dependable
  • Ability to pass a background check as required by state licensing
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
