Job Summary
This posting is only open to those who have the technical skills from operating multi-color flexographic printing presses.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our 8 color wide web, servo CI Flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality print production while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in print advertising and graphic design.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
Set up press equipment, including ink mixing and plate installation, ensuring proper alignment and registration.
Monitor the printing process to ensure consistency in color, quality, and production speed.
Conduct regular quality control checks throughout the printing run to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure that files are correctly prepared for printing.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and best practices.
Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products as necessary.
Requirements
MUST HAVE proven experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator in the printing industry.
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Forklift certification preferred but not required; training can be provided.
