Job Description: * We are seeking a Database Engineer / Full-Stack Developer with hands-on experience in MongoDB or MariaDB, including deployment, management, debugging optimization issues, and scaling. The ideal candidate will bring strong database expertise along with the ability to support development and integration efforts in modern software environments. Desired skills include experience with Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask, REST endpoint development, and building applications within a microservices architecture. Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Swagger, AWS/C2S or other cloud platforms, Docker, Visual Studio Code (or similar IDEs), JSON/XML serialization, Jira, Confluence, and Git is highly valuable. Experience working in an Agile development environment is also preferred. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the stack, from database management and optimization to application development and deployment in modern cloud-based environments. The Database Engineer Level 2 shall possess the following capabilities: * Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB.
* Deployment and management of the database itself. * Debugging of optimization issues.
* Scaling Desired.
* Python, Django or Flask.
* ReST Endpoint Development.
* Micro-Service Model.
* Swagger.
* AWS, C2S or other cloud experience.
* Docker.
* Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization.
* Jira, Confluence, Git version control. * Experience working in Agile environment. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
* Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
* Five (5) years' experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
