Job description

A leading regional healthcare system in northern Illinois is seeking a BC/BECardiothoracic Surgeonto join its cardiovascular surgery team.
This role focuses on adult cardiac surgery, including coronary artery disease and structural heart disease, with involvement in both surgical and transcatheter valve procedures.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  • Completion of a General Surgery residency and Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship, or completion of an integrated cardiothoracic residency program (I-6 or 4-3 pathway)
  • Active Illinois medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Interest or experience in adult cardiac and structural heart procedures
