Flexible Rn Cpc professionals combine nursing skills with coding expertise, often working in healthcare settings that require both patient care and documentation. What is a Flexible RN CPC?

A Flexible RN CPC is a Registered Nurse (RN) who works in a flexible or per diem capacity within a Clinical Practice Center (CPC) or similar clinical environment. These nurses are not tied to a fixed schedule and may work varying shifts based on the needs of the facility. Flexible RNs in a CPC setting are responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and supporting both patients and other healthcare staff. This role is ideal for nurses seeking a work-life balance or those looking to gain experience in different clinical areas.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Flexible RN CPC, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Flexible RN CPC (Registered Nurse, Clinical Practice Coordinator), you need a current RN license, strong clinical knowledge, and experience in care coordination or case management. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), care planning software, and relevant certifications such as BLS or ACLS is typically required. Outstanding organization, adaptability, and communication skills set candidates apart in this dynamic, coordination-heavy role. These competencies are crucial to ensure seamless patient care transitions, efficient case management, and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
