Job description

ID Checker/ Door Person/ Security - Future Bars
The Future Bars Group is currently seeking employees for an ID Checker position. We are looking for candidates who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries, or those eager to learn. The positions are open at different locations in Downtown SF. Typical hours are Thursday thru Saturdays, between 6 pm and 2 am.
Current Job Opening:
  • Swig/Bottle Club Pub
  • Lark
  • Zombie Village

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests when they arrive and when they leave
  • Qualify guest identification following ABC guidelines
  • Monitor guests for signs of intoxication
  • De-escalate the conflicts that involve customers
  • Interface with supervisors to manage and control guest flow

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 1 year of security or front desk experience in a hotel, restaurant, or nightclub
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Active guard card or commitment to obtain one in the first 6 months of employment
  • Flexible evening availability
  • Able to stand 8 hours
