• Conduct personalized, one-on-one acupuncture consultations to assess patients' needs and treatment options.
• Facilitate group acupuncture sessions and acupressure treatments to enhance community wellness initiatives.
• Document detailed visit summaries thoroughly within our electronic medical record system, outlining treatment plans and patient progress.
• Educate patients, clients, and community members on the numerous benefits and applications of acupuncture therapies.
• Provide training and informational support to staff on acupuncture practices and patient management techniques.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop combined treatment plans that may also include care for hospitalized patients.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance your skills and integrate new acupuncture techniques into practice.

The diverse client base at Inner Light Acupuncture typically seeks treatment for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to chronic pain, stress management, digestive issues, and general wellness. Our commitment to personalized treatment plans enables us to achieve optimal patient outcomes, focusing on enhancing their overall quality of life through holistic methods.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited acupuncture program recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).
• Current and valid acupuncture license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with patients and share complex health information in an understandable format.
• High standards of professionalism in all interactions, maintaining a positive demeanor and appearance.
• Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating care and empathy in all patient encounters.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an acupuncture practice, demonstrating knowledge of treatment modalities and patient management.
• Experience in patient education and community outreach related to acupuncture and wellness practices.
• Background in integrating acupuncture with complementary treatments is desirable.
