Employees may be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, often using modern warehouse management systems. The 'flex' aspect refers to adaptable work hours or cross-training in multiple warehouse functions, making it suitable for those seeking part-time or variable schedules. These positions are common in e-commerce, logistics, and distribution centers that require staff to handle fluctuating demand.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a flex warehouse worker?

To thrive as a Flex Warehouse Worker, you typically need basic math and literacy skills, physical stamina, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and forklifts or pallet jacks is often required, along with certifications like OSHA forklift certification.
