Warehouse Associate Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently working with a well-known distribution facility that is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The Warehouse Associate will daily handle customers’ orders, which include verifying shipping inventory, addresses, shipments, and loading as well as unloading product with a Forklift in a safe and organized manner. The ideal Warehouse Associate has multiple years of experience in a warehouse environment, understands cycle and inventory control counts, is forklift certified, and follows standard operating procedures. The Warehouse Associate position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Baytown, TX.

Warehouse Associate Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow Warehouse Operational Procedures Which Includes Sorting, Loading, Unloading, Documentation, Packaging, Manifesting & Processing Shipments
  • Process Daily Orders by Pulling & Packing Products
  • Ensure Product is Correctly Dated, Inspected, Counted, & is Free of Damage & Any Bug or Pest Infestations
  • Responsible For Maintaining Safe & Efficient Operation of The Vehicle & Perform Order Filler & Checker Duties
  • Promptly Report Any Inventory Issues, Damages, & Shipping Errors to Supervisors
  • Inspect & Verify Outbound Orders For Accuracy
  • Verify Outbound Shipping Inventory & Labels on Products Have The Correct Name, Address, Zip Code, & Contact Information
  • Utilize a Forklift or Any Warehouse Machinery to Load & Unload Products Safely
  • Perform Inventory Cycle Counts & Audits
  • Maintain a Clean & Organized Work Area & Assist With Additional Duties as Requested
  • Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • 1+ Years of Warehouse & Inventory Control Experience
  • 1+ Years of Forklift & Reach Truck Experience

  • Must be a Quick Learner, Leader, & Flexible to Meet Daily Warehouse Needs
  • Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
