Job description

Corcoran New Development is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Leasing Coordinator to support a high-profile project situated in Long Island City.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team representing one of the city's most anticipated residential communities. As Leasing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, supporting leasing efforts, and helping shape the future of NYC's real estate landscape. If you bring strong organizational skills, leasing experience, and a passion for urban development, we'd love to hear from you. This position must be performed in an office setting.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Open and close the office daily

  • Maintain office support and administrative duties
  • Follow all processes in accordance with NYS guidelines to ensure all necessary documentation is completed (NYS Disclosure and Fair Housing Forms)
  • Database maintenance and generating custom reports as directed (including contact lists, Daily & Weekly Reports, Monthly Office Schedule)
  • Update and maintain listings across various platforms
  • Assist the Leasing Team in all aspects of their day-to-day 
  • Update and track all office administrative documentation to ensure proper filing and record keeping
  • Maintain positive customer-relations attitude and supportive approach to working with on and off-site team members and ancillary professionals
  • Perform any additional duties assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more years' experience in a customer centric business environment with administrative responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external clients at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
