Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students to evaluate their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, considering their cultural and personal backgrounds.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on ongoing feedback and clinical assessment.
• Collaborate closely with educational staff, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to student mental health care.
• Offer educational sessions and resources for students and their families, emphasizing understanding mental health conditions and available community resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards, particularly regarding informed consent and professional conduct.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on students within the school system, who may come from diverse backgrounds and face unique mental health challenges. As an LCSW at Flourish Mental Health, you will contribute to the academic and socio-emotional functioning of young individuals, addressing issues that impact their school performance and overall development.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience working in mental health settings, particularly with youth populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical skills, encompassing the ability to conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and healthcare management software to optimize patient care documentation.
• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in school-based mental health services is highly desirable.
• Prior work using telehealth platforms for therapeutic interventions.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
