• Conducting comprehensive assessments to establish clients' treatment goals based on their individual needs and circumstances.
• Providing evidence-based, preventive therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique situations of each client.
• Regularly implementing, monitoring, and modifying treatment plans in response to client progress and needs.
• Collaborating with external treatment providers and placement agencies to deliver holistic care and support.
• Maintaining all clinical documentation in a timely and organized manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Managing an active caseload and keeping detailed session notes to track client achievements and areas for improvement.
• Participating in regular staff meetings to share insights, best practices, and support team cohesion.
• Contributing to a positive workplace culture by actively engaging with colleagues and participating in team-building activities.

The therapist in this position will work with a diverse population of clients, addressing a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma. You will have the opportunity to impact each client’s life significantly, utilizing your skills to foster resilience and personal growth.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in disciplines such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A minimum of one year of experience working in a mental health counseling capacity, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Strong understanding of community mental health resources and how to leverage them for client benefit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on guiding others while maintaining accountability.

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly in remote or teletherapy environments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and their application in practice.
• A track record of referrals and follow-up with community resources.
• Participation in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops or conferences.
