Job description

PBH Staff Clinician I - Flex Team members will float and be cross-trained across all PBH campuses and Staff Clinician roles. Flex Team members receive a $5.00 premium pay in addition to their base rate and any applicable shift differentials.

This PBH Staff Clinician I – Flex position requires flexibility between in-person and virtual care options for patients, particularly within an IOP setting. 

Summary

Staff Clinician I utilizes therapeutic skills to assess the psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate these needs by providing individual, group, marital and/or family therapy. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provides educational seminars and in-service training that may be beneficial and/or required.

Education

Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.

Licensure/Certification

NVCI required within 60 in days of employment. CPR required within 30 days of employment. Must have an associate level license. Must pursue full licensure and/or certification in related mental health field.

Experience

2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

Must be available to work flexible hours and days of the week including weekends and evenings. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
