  • Cancer Center � Staff Pharmacist
    Monday�Friday | 7:30 AM � 6:00 PM
  • Clinical Pharmacist (Transitions of Care)
  • Drug Information Pharmacist
  • Main Hospital Pharmacy � Staff Pharmacist
    Shifts: 8:00 AM � 4:30 PM or 2:30 PM � 11:00 PM
  • Part-Time Pharmacist � Bixler Emergency Room
  • Flex Pharmacist

The employer is Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare located in Tallahassee, Florida.
Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system. TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Primary Stroke Center
  • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Pediatric Intensive Care
  • The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy.
  • Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy.
  • Responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature.
  • Plans and organizes work schedule of supportive personnel and pharmacists, as required.
  • Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and the Pharmacy Director, optimizes patient medication therapy by providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services.
  • Works collaboratively with the health care team to accomplish goals.
  • Assignments may include but not limited to the following specialty areas: infectious disease, oncology, cardiovascular, medication safety, and PharmacoEconomics.

Qualifications:
Required Education
Minimum: Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution. Preferred: Advanced degree or enrollment in advanced degree program.
Required Experience
Preferred: 1+ years experience as a registered pharmacist in a hospital setting.
Required Certification/License/Registry
Current Florida pharmacist license or eligible for licensure in Florida.
