Job description

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marquette, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, pediatric DKA 
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Post-open heart, heart failure, resp failure, Trauma, Surgical ICU, post stroke with lytics, post crani,

Unit Information: 

• Number of Beds: 24 
• Patient Ratios:   1:3 for IMCU 
• Equipment:  baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, bolt monitoring, vents, bipap, high flow oxygen 

• EHR: Cerner 

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours 
• Weekend Hours: every other 
• Call Requirements: No schedules call, but maybe put on call if census drops in unit 
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS 
• Years of Experience:  2 years PCU experience 
• Float Requirements: must be willing to float  

• Additional Notes:  floating is done on a rotation with the travel nurses
