Position Overview

Flex Fitness Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and qualified Licensed Physical Therapists to join our rehabilitation facility located in Fairfax, Virginia. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, in addition to a robust benefits package designed to support our therapists both personally and professionally.

Work Environment

The position is situated at our rehabilitation facility in Fairfax, where teamwork and collaboration form the backbone of our operations. The work schedule includes evening hours from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 7 PM, and a flexible shift on Fridays, allowing for work-life balance while meeting patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Flex Fitness, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations to screen, test, and diagnose injuries and disabilities, applying standard physical therapy modalities.
  • Formulating individualized treatment plans and setting realistic goals based on comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Managing treatment sessions that consist of various physical therapy interventions, monitoring patient progress and modifying approaches as necessary.
  • Educating and training patients and their caregivers on proper techniques to enhance recovery and maintain physical health.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation for each patient in line with facility, regulatory, and departmental guidelines.
  • Engaging in interdisciplinary communication with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams regarding patient conditions, needs, and outcomes.
  • Participating in the quality improvement processes, ensuring optimal patient care while adhering to safety protocols for equipment operation and usage.
  • Supervising physical therapy assistants and ensuring high-quality standard of care is delivered consistently to all assigned patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role requires delivering care to a broad spectrum of patient populations, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will be expected to leverage your knowledge and experience to tailor treatment approaches for diverse demographic groups, handling complex cases with sensitivity and awareness of individual circumstances.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A current, valid state Physical Therapist license.
  • A Master’s degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Strong clinical background with experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
