The impact you'll make
At Lam, as an Engineering Technician, you play a crucial role in supporting activities including design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Referencing schematics, diagrams, and descriptions, you conduct testing and troubleshooting. You'll perform fault isolation and assist in determining methods to remedy malfunctions. Your commitment to precision and problem-solving enhances Lam's engineering systems.
What you'll do
  • Performs testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, or defined plans.
  • May conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment, help in determining methods to remedy malfunctions.
  • Support the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment, including, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

Who we're looking for
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a shift-based schedule as required.

Preferred qualifications
  • Technical Certificate in a related technical field.
