This is the perfect position for someone who wants to build on their current mechanical experience, develop and implement new processes for an established and growing business, and eventually take on a supervisory role as we grow our fleet and explore new possibilities for our services.


Requirements

The Fleet Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of our fleet of sweeper trucks and other vehicles, as well as thorough documentation of services performed, and communication with shift managers regarding problems and repairs. Our fleet currently consists of 13 sweeper trucks, 2 heavier duty construction sweepers, 2 dump trucks, 9 pickup trucks, 3 trailers, a bucket lift, pressure cleaner, and a bobcat. Our sweeper trucks are mostly Isuzu cab-overs, though we have a few GMC trucks as well. Our pickup trucks are mostly Chevrolet. No experience with sweepers is necessary (training for maintenance of sweepers will be provided).

The base schedule is 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.

This is a driving position. Applicants must have an active driver license and a clean driving record to be considered for this position.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive attitude and general mechanical experience. Experience with diesel mechanics and hydraulic systems preferred.

Safety is our priority! Utilizing our Safety Coordinator and holding monthly safety meetings, we make sure our employees are protected from all kinds of hazards and have the proper PPE for the job.
