Job description

Managing Director - Investor Outreach & Capital Markets (Team Lead)

Location: Boca Raton, FL

If you are a driven, relationship-oriented professional with leadership experience and a strong interest in capital markets — or the ability to quickly learn them — this is an opportunity to step into a high-impact, producing leadership role with significant upside.

Noble Capital Markets, a full-service middle-market investment banking firm with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Managing Director - Investor Outreach & Capital Markets (Team Lead) to join our team at our Boca Raton headquarters.

Noble is a leading provider of Company Sponsored Research in North America, distributed through our proprietary platform, Channelchek®. In this role, you will lead by example — developing investor relationships, supporting capital markets transactions, providing corporate access, and helping build and mentor a growing investor outreach team.

We recognize that top-performing professionals in this role may come from a variety of industries. We encourage applications from candidates with backgrounds in enterprise sales, SaaS, consulting, executive search, investor relations, capital markets, business development, or other relationship-driven industries where success is built on communication, trust, and performance.

This position is ideal for a professional who combines sales and leadership experience with the ability to engage sophisticated investor audiences, and who is eager to grow into a senior capital markets role over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a producing team leader, actively engaging with investors while mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Identify, develop, and grow relationships with institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Support investment banking transactions by sourcing and qualifying investors for capital raises
  • Drive investor engagement across:
    • Capital markets transactions
    • Research distribution and commissions
    • Conferences, non-deal roadshows (NDRs), and 1x1 meetings
  • Help recruit, train, and develop investor outreach team members
  • Establish best practices for investor targeting, outreach, and follow-up
  • Partner with investment banking and research teams to align investor demand with active mandates
  • Participate in and help coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and conference activity
  • Maintain disciplined CRM usage and pipeline management across the team
  • Provide feedback on investor sentiment and market trends to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; finance, economics, or related field strongly preferred; MBA and/or CFA a plus
  • 5–10+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, investor relations, capital markets, consulting, or other relationship-driven, performance-based roles
  • Prior management or team leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated success in a sales and relationship-driven role
  • Strong interest in capital markets and investor engagement (or ability to ramp quickly and learn)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with sophisticated, professional investor audiences
  • Highly motivated with a “player-coach” mindset — willing to both lead and produce
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to develop junior talent
  • Experience in high-performance, quota-driven environments (e.g., SaaS sales, enterprise solutions, consulting, recruitment, financial services, or similar)
  • Experience with CRM systems and structured pipeline management
  • Series 7 license preferred at start, but required within 6 months of employment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Target total compensation (Year 1): $200,000 – $250,000
  • Uncapped incentive compensation tied to individual and team production
  • 401(k) plan
  • Medical and additional benefits
  • Paid time off
  • Hybrid work flexibility
  • Significant long-term growth and leadership opportunities
