Night Shift Security Guard Gatehouse Officer


Upscale Residential Community Sarasota, FL

Capital Protection and Investigations is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to staff the gatehouse of an upscale residential community during overnight hours. This position is ideal for individuals who maintain a strong security presence while providing exceptional service to residents and guests.

Position Details
  • Night Shift / Overnight Hours
  • Monday - Friday 11pm-7am or Saturday-Sunday 11pm-7am
  • Full-Time or Part-Time Available
  • Gatehouse / Access Control Assignment
  • Upscale Residential Community Environment
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control community access points
  • Verify visitors, vendors, and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate visitor and incident logs
  • Conduct routine patrols of the property as required
  • Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
  • Communicate professionally with management, residents, and emergency services
  • Enforce community rules and post orders in a professional manner
Qualifications
  • Valid Florida Class D Security License required
  • Prior gatehouse, concierge, or security experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight shifts
  • Basic computer and report-writing skills
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
