Concept2, a market-leading manufacturer of indoor fitness equipment and composite racing oars, is seeking a motivatedOffice Managerfor our Canadian subsidiary in Kingston, Ontario.

This position combines accounting ownership with daily office administration, operational support, and stakeholder service. The successful candidate will be highly organized, technically confident, self-directed, and comfortable working as part of a small, collaborative team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, monthly reporting, and GST/HST reporting and filing.
  • Production of monthly management accounts, preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments, P&Land balance sheet reporting in line with reporting timetables
  • Assistingwith the preparation of budgets
  • Production of year end accounts and tax packs.
  • Maintainaccuratefinancial records and preparetimelyreports and supporting schedules.
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, records, supplies, and facilities.
  • Support the Subsidiary Leader and provide operationalassistanceduring their absence.
  • Maintain workplace health and safety policies, documentation, and compliance.
  • Build positive relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identifyopportunities to improve administrative and financial processes.
  • Support a safe, professional, and customer-focused workplace.

Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting, office administration, or a related field; experience in a corporate, manufacturing, sales, fitness, or sporting environment is preferred.
  • Experience with GST/HST reporting, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Proficiencywith ERP systems, accounting software, Microsoft 365, and business technology.
  • Excellent organization, accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, andmaintainconfidentiality.
  • A proactive, friendly, and collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to clean, safe, and compliant work practices.
  • A valid driver's license and current or future eligibility to work in Canada.
  • A passion for rowing, fitness, sports, or an active lifestyle is an asset.

Compensation for this position consists of a fixed salary range of $55k-$75k, plus participation in a quarterly variable wage program that is based on company and employee performance, and that adds significantly to total compensation.
