Position Overview
Dutch Miller Nissan of Wytheville is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing Fixed Operations team.
You do not have to be an A-Level or Master Technician to apply. We are interested in experienced, motivated technicians at multiple skill levels who want steady work, competitive earning potential, continued training, and an opportunity to advance their career.
Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per flat-rate hour, based on experience, certifications, training level, diagnostic ability, and overall skill set.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Perform maintenance and repair services according to manufacturer standards
  • Complete brake, steering, suspension, cooling, HVAC, and electrical repairs
  • Perform engine and transmission repairs based on experience and certification level
  • Utilize Nissan diagnostic equipment, systems, and technical information
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs
  • Document diagnostic findings and repairs accurately
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management
  • Maintain quality workmanship while meeting productivity expectations
  • Participate in Nissan factory training and continued technician development
  • Maintain an organized and professional work environment
Qualifications
  • Previous professional automotive repair experience
  • Dealership experience preferred, but not required
  • Nissan experience is a plus, but not required
  • Import or Asian-brand experience is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Diagnostic experience is highly valued
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Nissan or other manufacturer certifications are a plus
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented dealership environment
  • Willingness to continue training and advance technical skills
