The Fixed Income & Municipals Commercial team is responsible for driving growth, client engagement, and adoption across S&P Global Market Intelligence's Primary Markets workflow solutions. Our products support many of the world's leading banks, issuers, investors, and municipal market participants through mission-critical technology used in the primary issuance process.
You will join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team focused on expanding adoption across S&P Global Market Intelligence's primary markets workflow solutions, including our growing suite of workflow automation and AI-enabled capabilities. The team works closely with Product, Client Success, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to help clients modernize their issuance workflows and maximize value from S&P Global's interconnected ecosystem.
Responsibilities and Impact:
This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of one of the industry's leading capital markets workflow businesses. You will help strengthen client relationships, support commercial initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and drive adoption of innovative solutions that are transforming how fixed income and municipal securities are originated, marketed, and distributed.
The successful candidate will have exposure to senior stakeholders across the financial services industry while developing expertise in capital markets workflows, electronic issuance, workflow automation, data analytics, interoperability, and emerging AI-enabled solutions.
As a member of the Commercial team, you will help drive client engagement, product adoption, and commercial growth across our Fixed Income and Municipals businesses.
  • Develop industry expertise: Build an understanding of fixed income and municipal issuance workflows, market participants, and evolving industry trends. Develop expertise across S&P Global's primary markets solutions and value propositions while maintaining awareness of market structure developments, competitive dynamics, and emerging technology trends.
  • Support business development: Identify opportunities to expand client usage and adoption across existing and prospective accounts. Assist in developing commercial strategies that grow participation across our network of banks, investors, issuers, and municipal market participants.
  • Partner with clients: Build and maintain relationships with clients across the capital markets ecosystem. Coordinate client meetings, demonstrations, webinars, industry events, and roundtables. Gather client feedback and communicate market needs to product and leadership teams.
  • Drive product adoption: Support onboarding and adoption initiatives for new products, features, integrations, and workflow enhancements. Partner with Client Success and Product teams to identify opportunities to increase engagement and utilization.
  • Deliver commercial insights: Analyze client activity, market trends, and business performance metrics. Help prepare business reviews, executive presentations, and strategic planning materials. Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new products and commercial initiatives.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Client Success, Marketing, and Sales teams. Support strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives focused on business growth and client satisfaction.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,661 to $108,900. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets, sales, business development, client success, consulting, or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of fixed income, municipal markets, debt capital markets, or financial markets is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, data analysis tools, or workflow technologies is advantageous.
