Job description

Our client, a multi-strat hedge fund in NY is looking for The Fixed Income Specialist to assist the Front Office in the business of dealing Treasury and Repos products.  The ideal candidate would be a leader and contribute by participating in business projects such as new markets development, products, system advances or roll-outs, regulations and market rules.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the transactional integrity across trading applications used by the Treasury and Repo product lines (Fixed Income)
  • Preliminary contact for the Fixed Income division
  • Ensure the controls and procedures are developed to support the business and reduce operational risk
  • Act as a point of contact for the introduction of new products and ensure that procedures are in place to correctly book and manage these transactions
  • Contribute to the development of reliable and effective control functions
  • Investigate, analyze and follow-up the breaks sent by Back/Middle Office
  • Monitor all the trades and product life cycle, and conduct weekly reports

Compensation:

  • $90,000 - $110,000
