Quality Analyst with FIX Protocol

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

6-12 MONTHS

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Analyst (QA) with hands-on experience in FIX Protocol (Financial Information eXchange) to support testing of trading platforms and financial systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional, integration, and regression testing within capital markets or trading environments.

Key Responsibilities

    • Well exposed in Equity, Fixed Income, Banking, Credit Card and media industry 
    • Experienced in writing Test Plans, Use Cases, Test Scripts, Test cases and data preparation
    • Experienced in Functional, Integration, Regression, GUI, Backend testing 
    • Experienced in writing Automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
    • Experienced in FIX protocol and FIX engine (VeriFIX)
    • Comfortable with any platform such as Windows, UNIX and Linux, MAC
    • Experienced on different types of development methodology such as Waterfall, Agile
    • Experienced in both iOS and Android platform

      Experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with history of working in the financial, banking and Media industry. Strong quality assurance professional,

      skilled in Management, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Requirements Analysis, Test Planning, Test Cases and Automation Framework.

    • Use Linux commands and scripts to retrieve the FIX messages from the Linux box
    • Extensively use Unix commands to verify the order log
    • FIX Log test for Incoming and Outgoing FIX Orders and Executions flow including accept, reject, amend, cancel, partially or fully execute orders and also bust and amend trades.
    • Verify FIX Log (standard and custom tags) for Incoming and Outgoing FIX Orders, and drop copy for STPHub, VTC
    • Hands-on and Assist QA team to onboard automation test cases for the Fidessa desktop trading application using the MATH framework

    Hand-on User access and Market Access test for the regulatory and compliance reporting
