Senior Director, Product - Builder Solutions

Job description

Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Senior Director, Product - Builder Solutions to be part of revolutionizing these industries. We are building the future of how homes are designed, estimated, and built by revolutionizing construction workflows with modern software engineering, agent-assisted systems, and mobile-first experiences. We are powered by our parent company, Builders FirstSource (NYSE: BLDR): a Fortune 300 company with over $23 billion in revenue and more than 29,000 employees across 550+ locations, BFS is redefining construction through data, digital infrastructure, and AI-powered innovation.
Builder Solutions represents a product portfolio that helps home builders organize how they work, inspire their buyers, and sell more homes. This role combines scaling a product line that is already live and generating value with customers, while simultaneously driving a new generation of capabilities from the ground up.
Home builders operate in a complex, fragmented environment. Information is scattered, teams are misaligned, and the gap between what a builder offers and what a buyer experiences is wider than it should be. Builder Solutions closes that gap, giving builders the operational foundation they need so that every team is working from the same truth, and every buyer interaction is built on confidence.
This role is for someone who knows what it takes to grow a product that customers already rely on, and who is equally energized by the challenge of defining and proving something new.
What You Will Do:
• Provide leadership and strategic direction across the Builder Solutions product portfolio, serving as its senior product owner and internal champion.
• Shape, lead, and execute the Builder Solutions growth strategy and roadmap, balancing the near-term needs of existing customers with the longer-term bets that drive differentiated growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product leaders and managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, strong customer understanding, rigorous prioritization, and outcome-oriented delivery. Raise the bar for product craft and create visibility of the teams' work across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the product is built well, launched successfully, and continuously improved based on customer and market insights.
• Make decisions with division‑level implications, guided by company and product strategy, balancing near‑term execution with long‑term growth, capability building, and organizational resilience.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics that measure whether Builder Solutions is creating real customer and business value, and use those insights to guide prioritization.
• Ground product strategy in strong customer understanding, data, and operational realities, while identifying opportunities for differentiated innovation, including AI adoption and production modernization.
• Manage and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and technology providers to support product development and enhance product capabilities.
• Contribute to hiring strategy, succession planning, and onboarding practices to strengthen long term capability building within the Builder Solutions product organization.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to inform and execute pricing strategies, product positioning, and go‑to‑market plans for Builder Solutions, supporting adoption, customer value, and revenue growth.
• Serve as a thought leader and advocate for product excellence within the organization.
What You Need to Succeed:
• 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading product teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equal amount of related professional experience.
• Experience on both sides of the maturity curve: scaling products that customers already depend on and building 0-1 products in markets that are still taking shape. You know the difference between the two modes, and you can operate in both simultaneously.
• Experience in the homebuilding industry, construction technology, or a closely adjacent domain. The workflows, pressures, and decision-making patterns of home builders are not foreign to you. Or you have a demonstrated track record of getting deeply fluent in complex industry verticals quickly.
• Experience leading complex, enterprise‑scale product areas or major product domains, delivering customer value and measurable business impact.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate company‑level objectives into clear, executable product strategies.
• Experience operating with an enterprise‑aware perspective, balancing the needs of the Builder Solutions product organization with broader company priorities and strategic objectives.
• Make decisions with conviction and communicate clearly across audiences, from teams to executive leadership to customers, bringing others along while maintaining momentum.
• Demonstrate executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, align cross‑functional stakeholders, and translate complex concepts into clear, actionable outcomes.
• You are entrepreneurial. Uncharted problems energize you. You are comfortable adjusting direction as the business and technology environments evolve, and you bring the presence and credibility to lead through change.
