Flexibility First Physical Therapy is a leading rehabilitation facility, prominently located in Chantilly, Virginia. Our state-of-the-art sports medicine facility spans an impressive 5,000 square feet and is designed to provide cutting-edge treatment options and a welcoming atmosphere for our patients. We specialize in rehabilitative therapies, primarily serving individuals with private medical insurance. Our small, collaborative team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

As a physical therapist at Flexibility First, you will work onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation facility, where you will directly engage with your patients in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our professional workspace fosters collaboration and innovation, allowing you to work closely with your colleagues to develop comprehensive care plans. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and establish treatment objectives.
  • Maintain a personalized patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for focused and intensive care.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques that aim to enhance patients’ range of motion and mobility, with a strong emphasis on minimizing pain and medication reliance.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, keeping abreast of the latest industry standards.
  • Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to address the unique needs of each patient, promoting active participation in their own recovery process.
  • Document patient care and progress with precision, ensuring seamless communication among the healthcare team.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, instilling confidence and fostering a positive outlook on their recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations and modifications to treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, with a wide range of injuries and movement limitations. Many of our clients have private health insurance and are seeking effective non-surgical alternatives to manage pain and restore function. We believe in a patient-centered approach, fostering strong relationships with our clients to guide them through their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
  • No history of board or disciplinary actions on licensure.
  • Strong skills in manual therapy techniques.
  • Ability to design and implement detailed exercise programs tailored to individual patient goals.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly recommended.
  • A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation is an asset.
  • Evidence of continued education and certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques is preferred.
