We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at Flexibility First Physical Therapy in Centreville, Virginia. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in the rehabilitation and recovery process, working directly with patients to help them regain mobility and improve their functional capabilities. Our facility encompasses an expansive 5,000 square feet of state-of-the-art equipment and resources designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on a collaborative approach to patient care, employing a progressive and evidence-based methodology that prioritizes the individual needs of each patient. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to delivering the highest standard of therapy.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing for a direct and engaging therapeutic relationship with patients. Our working atmosphere is dynamic and supportive, emphasizing teamwork, open communication, and professional growth. You will operate within a well-equipped rehabilitation facility, providing you with the tools necessary to deliver exceptional therapy. Operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life structure while managing a patient-centered workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients’ physical capabilities and limitations, taking into consideration their medical histories.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and strength.
• Administer targeted therapies to alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and facilitate rehabilitation for various conditions.
• Encourage patient participation and adherence to therapy programs, providing motivation and support throughout their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adapting treatment plans based on measurable outcomes and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain an efficient schedule by managing a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and dedicated therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Flexibility First Physical Therapy, we primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related issues, and general mobility challenges. Our patient-centric approach ensures that each individual receives tailored care that addresses their unique circumstances and goals, promoting optimal recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Strong competencies in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise program design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability in developing effective rehabilitation programs that emphasize non-surgical treatments.
• Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices to inform therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
