Material Handler: Beloit, Wisconsin
Our customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Material Handlers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for supporting shipping and warehouse operations, organizing materials, and ensuring accurate and timely product shipments.
 
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
  • Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
  • Perform daily forklift maintenance checks.
  • Organize product for shipping, including weighing and labeling UPS shipments.
  • Stage, stretch wrap, and prepare product for shipment.
  • Verify Bills of Lading and Packing Slips match product prior to shipping.
  • Complete and maintain shipping paperwork, including end-of-day reports and scrap documentation.
  • Coordinate truck scheduling with office personnel and production supervisors.
  • Schedule scrap trailers and assist with loading scrap materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and shipping areas, including docks.
  • Communicate maintenance needs for docks, forklifts, or facility equipment.
  • Be flexible to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
 
Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 months of related experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
 
Pay for Material Handler: $18.00/hour
