Location: Cookeville TN
Pay: $16.32 per hour
Shift: 7 AM to 3 Pm

Job Description:Are you detail-oriented and skilled in coordinating logistics operations? We're hiring a Logistics Specialist to join our team at our auto company. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the transportation, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and products to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of automotive parts and products.
  • Plan and schedule transportation routes and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and warehouse space to optimize storage and distribution efficiency.
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate records of inventory and logistics activities.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in transportation and delivery to minimize disruptions.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for warehouse and transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and support business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
