Tekberry is looking for a reliable Logistics Technician to work on-site with our client, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components company.
To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At least 3 years of Material Handling/ Logistics experience.
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.

As a Logistics Technician II, you will:
  • Perform various physical and transactional process-based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) requirements of the business.
    • These processes include Material Delivery, Kit Pull, Material Stocking, Receiving, and Packaging.
  • Develop working knowledge of several software applications including internal business systems.
  • Responsible for receiving, packaging, counting, and locating parts appropriately.
  • Frequent lift and bend during processing of hardware. For articles that are a heavy lift cranes and lift carts will be provided and will be utilized.
  • Prioritize daily activities in processing received hardware.
  • Communicate with shop leads and repair operations to ensure daily targets are met.
  • Work with engineering, quality, and customer service representatives.
  • Handle emergencies and coordinate evacuations.
  • Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication to all associates on the shift.
