Preferred Banking Manager (Branch Manager) - Float

What you'll do:

As a Preferred Banking Manager (Float), you'll lead and coach a team responsible for executing the full client life cycle for clients. Your team under your leadership will promote and exemplify the department's "sales, service, operations" philosophy through client interactions. You'll lead a team responsible for responding to and resolving client requests and providing expert advice and guidance for these clients utilizing products and services such as treasury management, loans, commercial, and personal accounts. You'll work with internal departments and resources such as the Preferred Banker support system to drive client satisfaction. You'll ensure the team completes department training and demonstrates competency to augment their banking knowledge for more effective work solutions and career growth opportunities.
  • Lead and be subject matter expert for the Preferred Banker team by responding to complex client requests to execute the complete client life cycle and achieve client satisfaction. Drive the preferred banking team in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to promote Bank products through analysis of client patterns and needs.
  • Oversee and manage distribution of work for their designated team, facilitate cross training opportunities, and provide reporting to management on production, turnaround times and other key data points.
  • Ensure the team meets service level standards including sales, customer service, turn-around time, risk management and regulatory compliance, audit soundness, and productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor individual team member performance to support their career progression and ensure optimal client support for all client inquiries or requests.
  • Create and execute strategic business initiatives driven by data analytics under the direction of the Preferred Banking Director. This may require change management techniques with other internal departments and proactively keeping up-to-date with Bank products.
  • Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

What you'll need:

  • 6+ years of related experience in Treasury Management Sales, Treasury Management Service, Branch Banking Operations or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, new account opening, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced business, legal, and technical writing ability with a good working knowledge of industry-standard writing specifications.
  • Advanced experience in deposits and treasury management products.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
