Job Title: eClinicalWorks (eCW) Superuser

Organization: First Choice Primary Care, Inc. (FCPC)
Location: Macon, GA (multi-site support required)
Department: Clinical Operations / IT
Reports To: Director of IT

Position Overview

First Choice Primary Care, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking an experienced Health IT Specialist to serve as the organizationโ€™s internal EHR expert. This role supports organizational technology initiatives, healthcare applications, and information technology operations. This position assists with technology projects, application administration, user support, technology deployments, documentation, provider and staf training, and other activities that support the organization's clinical and business technology needs.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of eCW with a practical understanding of clinical operations and a passion for improving provider efficiency and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

    1. Technology Project Support
    • Assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of information technology projects.
    • Participate in software deployments, technology rollouts, and implementation activities.
    • Assist with project tracking, testing, documentation, and follow-up activities.
    1. eClinicalWorks (eCW) Application Support, Related Hardware Equipment
    • Provide friendly and professional customer support to all medical staff for the eClinicalWorks EMR system by obtaining information on issues and relaying to various support teams.
    • Assist users with application-related questions and basic troubleshooting.
    • Create and/or configure new areas of eCW โ€“ i.e. Templates, Letter, Forms, etc. Training will be provided on working with these features.
    • Support the ongoing use and adoption of various eCW related initiatives and features.
    • Maintain initial ongoing training as assigned.
    1. User Support and Training
    • Assist with onboarding and technology orientation for new employees.
    • Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and reference documents.
    • Conduct individual and group training sessions as assigned.
    • Support users during system implementations and technology transitions.
    • Coordinate with MSP when necessary to resolve technology issues.
    • Assist with occasional deployment, setup, and replacement of computers, printers, and related technology equipment.
    1. Reporting and Administrative Support
    • Assist in generating and distributing routine reports as requested.
    • Create visual presentation of data by using Pivot Tables and/or graphs in MS Excel.
    • Assist with maintaining technology inventories and asset records.
    • Assist with technology-related audits and information requests.
    • Support departmental administrative functions and special projects.

  • Provide on-site support across locations, including school-based health centers

Qualifications

Associate degrees in Information Technology, Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting technology systems, healthcare applications, project coordination, or related functions preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred.
  • Experience supporting software applications and end users preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly.
  • Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • LPN/Coding/Billing Certification Preferred



This is an 8am - 5pm on-site job that invoves travelling to other sites as needed.
