This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position. You may be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Accountable for the maintenance, design, and health of Honor’s network in collaboration with the infrastructure team, including firewall and SD-WAN platforms that support secure and reliable connectivity across the organization.
  • Ensures that Honor’s network is operating to the best of its capabilities while also proactively identifying areas of improvement.
  • Serves as an escalation point for advanced network troubleshooting for our IT support team, including issues involving firewalls, WAN connectivity, and SD-WAN routing or policy behavior.
  • Innovates and develops forward-thinking solutions and collaborate with management for planning and implementation.
  • Develops and maintain comprehensive network documentation to guarantee consistency and lifecycle management controls for core network, firewall, and SD-WAN environments.
  • Security-first mindset and will work closely with Honor’s cybersecurity team to review and implement current and future network controls for compliance with industry best-practices.
  • Works in an environment with a broad range of technologies, though will primarily be using Cisco and Microsoft products.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent certification(s)
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Required: Cisco Preferred: Meraki, Palo Alto, SolarWinds, Zabbix Desired: Nutanix, Veeam, Azure, Ansible
  • Networking Proficiencies: Required: Routing, switching, firewall, VLAN, VPN, WLAN Preferred: High-availability, next-gen firewall, SD-WAN, automation, VoIP Desired: QOS, virtual networking
