About the Role
The Sr. Principal Engineer, Digital Global Networks and Network Security is responsible for supporting network and network security solutions across environments. This role requires advanced knowledge in network security infrastructure combined with knowledge of and ZTNA solutions.
Your Team
This role reports to the Executive Director, Digital Infrastructure, Cloud and Foundation Services.
The position does not have direct people management responsibility but is expected to provide mentorship to the operations team.

What You Will Do
  • Act as a technical expert for network and network security solutions across the organization
  • Provide input on architecture, design, and evolution of network and network security platforms
  • Support network security initiatives and definition of technical strategy
  • Guide project, and service direction, including prioritization
  • Support evolution of architectural standards, and operational guidelines for support teams
  • Serve as a contributor to the team on network and network security strategy
  • Be able to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Maintain and continuously improve network and security capabilities in alignment with best practices
  • Support multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced, globally distributed environments
  • Provide technical support to operations engineers and contribute to the development of organizational capability

What You Need to Be Successful
  • 10+ years of experience in Network Security Architecture and Design
  • 5+ years of experience designing and operating Networking environments including load balancers, and security appliances
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP - Security / Enterprise / Routing & Switching) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting security and zero-trust network programs
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to operate effectively with minimal direction in ambiguous and evolving environments

  • AWS or Azure Specialty certification in Networking and/or Security
  • Experience with ITIL v3+ frameworks and service management processes
  • Working knowledge of F5 load balancers, firewalls, and advanced routing protocols

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
