CNC Machinist Level 4 Job Summary
The CNC Machinist Level 4 is a highly skilled, senior-level role responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC equipment across milling, turning, and mill-turn platforms.
CNC Machinist Level 4 Responsibilities
โ€ข Perform full setups on CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines
โ€ข Run first articles and ensure parts meet print before full-rate production
โ€ข Perform required inspections using precision tools
โ€ข Diagnose and resolve machining issues related to programs, tooling, materials, and setups
โ€ข Provide guidance and technical support to other machinists and operators
โ€ข Recommend and implement improvements in tooling and workholding
โ€ข All other duties as assigned by management
CNC Machinist Level 4 Skills and Competencies
โ€ข Advanced experience with CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines
โ€ข Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple machines and priorities
โ€ข Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
