As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mount Vernon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will make a meaningful impact through teamwork and integrity every day.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with location protocols, helping to support authorized access for personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Support operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by remaining aware of restricted areas, following post instructions, and reporting hazards, spills, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
