About Us
We are a full service fire sprinkler contractor that offers layout, design, fabrication, and installation for nearly every type of wet and dry sprinkler system, as well as a full range of specialty systems. Additionally, we also design and install fire pumps, standpipes, and fire water storage tanks, and perform various types of fire-related inspections.
Job Summary
Dalmatian Fire has added a fire alarm division to its Columbus, Ohio location and is looking for a Fire Alarm Sales Representative to lead this charge. In this role you will be responsible for managing the group, estimating, site visits, and marketing while utilizing experienced sales strategies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build and manage the division.
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.
  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 72 standards and local codes.
  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.
  • Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to pricing new Fire Alarm work as needed
  • Assist with onboarding Alarm Technicians and Required Stock
  • Price Fire Sprinkler Tenant Improvement work as needed
  • Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications
  • Experience in a Fire Protection industry.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Technical knowledge of fire alarm, VESDA, clean agent, and control systems
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
