Job description

Our solutions automate key processesย and allowย ourย customersย to maintain compliance, fight financial crime, process loans quicker, and leverage data to strengthen their portfolio.

Abrigo is looking forย aย  Product Builder, UXย to help shape the next generation of AI-powered product experiences across our platform. Thisย UX-led roleย will turn customer problems, business opportunities, and emerging AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy, and scalable experiences.ย In collaboration withย Product, Engineering, andย go-to-market teams, this role will identify opportunities, design and prototype solutions, validate concepts with users, and contribute to the development of AI โ€“ enabled experiences.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on UX/product designer with experience simplifying complex enterprise workflows. They combine strong UX craft, product judgment, frontend fluency, and AI-enabled development tools to move quickly from ambiguous problems to prototypes, validated concepts, and select build contributions.ย This role will report to the Director of UX and may beย locatedย at our office in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote.ย 

Whatย Youโ€™llย Do:ย 

  • Design user-centered AI experiences across Abrigo products, with a focus on agenticย workflowsย whereย AIย assists, recommends, automates, orย takes actionย withย appropriate transparencyย and user control.ย 
  • Ownย design-to-build executionย for selectย productย features,ย combining UXย expertise,ย frontendย developmentย skills, and AI-enabled development tools.ย 
  • Contribute toย adjacent,ย high-impactย product initiatives where complex customer workflows, business value, and market differentiation require thoughtful, scalable product experiences.ย 
  • Create prototypes, wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interaction designs that clearly communicate product direction.ย 
  • Support user research, usability testing, and iterative validation across product experiences to ensure designs meet user needs,ย business goals, andย technicalย constraints.ย 
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shapeย feasible, scalable experiences and contribute to reusable frontend components, design-system patterns, and implementation guidelines.ย 
  • Use AI tools and modern design workflows to improve UX team velocity, design quality, and output.ย 
  • Helpย establishย reusable UX patterns and best practices that improve consistency, usability, trust, and efficiency across the product suite.ย 
  • Occasional travelย requiredย toย teamย events to support engagement, relationship-building, and key decision-making.

What Youโ€™ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX, product design, product building, or related roles.ย 
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, compliance, lending, fraud, risk, or complex enterprise software.ย 
  • Strong portfolio showing UX craft across user flows, interaction design, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, usability testing, and workflow simplification.ย 
  • Experience designing AI-powered, automation-driven, data-rich, or decision-support experiences.ย 
  • Strong understanding of trust, transparency, user control, explainability, and responsible AI in product experiences.ย 
  • Ability to quickly turn ambiguous problems into clear concepts, prototypes, validated solutions, and production-ready product direction.ย 
  • Experience prototyping or building beyond static design using AI-enabled development tools.ย 
  • Strong systems thinking and design judgment, with experience creating reusable patterns across a product suite.ย 
  • Curiosity and fluency with modern AI tools, AI-assisted coding tools, design workflows, and emerging product development practices.ย 

Preferredย qualifications:ย 

  • Experience contributing to production frontend code, especially in React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.ย 
  • Design-system engineering experience, including reusable frontend components, patterns, or implementation guidelines.ย 
  • Deeper experience in fintech, compliance, lending, fraud, risk, financial services, or another regulated industry.ย
